Entry qualification | Undergraduate diploma (or higher) To be eligible for this study programme, you need a bachelor’s degree (B. Sc.) with a grade of “good” (German grading of at least 2.5) or better in the fields of natural sciences, economics, agricultural sciences, forestry, geography, engineering with particular relevance to the environment, or an equivalent degree in a related degree programme. ➢ The bachelor’s degree is the basis for your application to this master’s degree programme at Kiel University. If the degree certificate is not yet available at the time of application, it is sufficient to hand in a transcript of records with at least 120 ECTS credits and a provisional overall grade issued by the respective institution of higher education, is to be submitted with the application. ➢ For this programme, relevant work experience is welcome but not required. ➢ Language requirements ➢ Since all classes are held in English, a good level of English (written and spoken) is mandatory. ➢ Accepted as proof of language proficiency are: ➢ IELTS: overall score of 7.0 or ➢ TOEFL® iBT (Internet-based test): overall score of 95 The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English.
